Hwedza is a rural district in the province of Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe.
It is located about 74km south of Marondera and 127 kilometers from Harare.
Hwedza RDC has 15 wards and all the wards are represented by Councilors from the ZANU PF party.
Of the 15 wards, 8 are communal areas, 4 are resettlement areas, 2 are small scale farming sector and one is in an urban set up that is Hwedza center.
