Here is the list of trips and events for which Councillors and council officials were approved to attend for June.
All of the trips were fully funded by Harare City Council save for the one to Kenya.
First Lady Children’s Home, 12-15 June
Chairperson of the Education, Health, Housing and Community Services and Licensing Committee and three (3) Council officials.
The Committee agreed that six (6) lady Councillors be added tothe list of delegates visiting the Children’s Home.

Secretaries Convention, Waterfront Resort Kariba, 11-14 June
Ten (10) Council officials were approved to attend the Secretaries’ Convention.

Sao Paulo Urban Summit, Brazil 18-21 June
The Mayor, one (1) Environmental Management Committee Chairperson (WASH) and six (6) Council officials at the Sao Paulo Urban Summit to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

VEI Local Project, Kenya 24-26 June
Two (2) officials to attend the VEI (WaterWorx) Local Project Regional Meeting to be held in Naivasha, Kenya.
VEI took care of all costs related to travel, accommodation and food.
However, City of Harare paid for supplementary allowances and entertainment allowance.
Southern Africa Association of Accountants, Vic Falls, 29 June -2 July
Authority granted for Thirty (30) Council officials to attend the Southern Africa Association of Accountants (SAAA)’s 24th Annual Conference to be held at the Elephant Hills Hotel, Victoria Falls.

Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce, Vic Falls 26-28 June
The Mayor, two (2) Committee Chairpersons, seven (7) Council officials, Mayor’s Aide, Town Clerk’s Aide and two (2) drivers pproved.
Event was held at the Elephant Hills Hotel, Victoria Falls.

The Mayor, one (1) Committee Chairperson and five (5) Council officials, Mayor’s Aide, Mayor’s Driver and one (1) Driver approved.

IPMZ Annual Human Resources Convention, Vic Falls 10-13 July
The Mayor, Human Resources and General Purposes Committee members, twenty (20) Council officials, Mayor’s Aide, Town Clerk’s Aide and two (2) Drivers approved.
The Committee added the Deputy Mayor and six (6) Council officials to the list.
The event was held at the Elephant Hills Hotel, Victoria Falls.
