Marondera Rural District Council has 23 councillors and 7 fall under Women Quota.
The ruling Zanu PF has control in these 23 Wards.
Citizen Coalition of Change (CCC) has only two councillors under Women Quota.
Most areas under Marondera West and Marondera East, the jurisdiction of Marondera RDC, are mainly farms with few rural and peri-urban areas.
