Like all public institutions Bulawayo City Council is governed by various procurement laws in relation to tenders and suppliers.
The process is open to all those who have the necessary papers.
On its Procurement Portal (PP), Bulawayo lays out how one can become a supplier for the City Council.
Thus, on the PP, one can get access to information and advertisements on tenders, requests for quotations and Tender Awards.
The Procurement system in the City of Bulawayo is guided by the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act [Chapter 22:23].
The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (General) Regulations [2018] also governs the same process.
All Procurement activities in the City of Bulawayo are managed by the Procurement Management Unit (PMU).
However, if you are interested in becoming a supplier of goods and services for the City of Bulawayo:
-kindly ensure that you are registered as a Supplier with Bulawayo City Council.
-be registered with the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ).
For access to flighted tenders visit the Bulawayo Council Procurement Portal.
The PP lists all current tenders, new requests for quotations and the current stages for old tenders.
