Kadoma City is in Mashonaland West Province and located South West of Harare, the Capital City.
It is at 140km peg along the Harare-Bulawayo Highway and was founded in 1901.
Affectionately known as City of Gold, it became a Municipality in 1917 and acquired city status in March 2000.
The city is surrounded by fertile red soils suitable for livestock production and crop farming as well as rich mineral deposits of gold.
Kadoma is virtually located at the heart of the country.
