“Some municipal traffic police officers are terrorizing residents by extorting money from motorists.

This is being done, “under the guise of having arrested them for traffic violations.”

The victims are subjected to all sorts of intimidation until they part with their money.

The City has since appointed an anti-corruption crack team.

It will react and investigate all reports relating to the conduct of municipal police.
